Mission Statement:  The Olivet Arts Council celebrates art in the every day by cultivating creative and artistic expression in music, theater, industrial and visual arts. 

Through the Olivet Community Schools, The Arts Council supports our students' artistic endeavors and enriches the culture of our community.

In the Fall of 2021, a group of Olivet Community Schools parents, interested community members, Olivet Community Schools staff, and Olivet College faculty gathered, sharing a genuine interest in promoting ALL arts of the Olivet Community Schools.  All arts are involved Band, Theater, Middle School Visual Arts, Industrial Arts, High School Visual Art, Choir and Fern Persons Elementary Music.

Putting The Arts of Olivet further into the public eye may help to better understand the effect they have upon student achievement and confidence.  The council feels part of this is opening up the success of these programs to the community, giving them a voice and exposure to the things students are learning and achieving each school year.                                       

The Arts Council of Olivet Community Schools meets throughout the year in the Olivet High School Library.  We encourage those interested in our community to join our meeting.  This council is not raising funds or seeking donations.  The Arts Council are members who wish to share ideas in the area of Arts advocacy.
