District Technology Vision
At Olivet Community Schools, we believe that technology, curriculum and student achievement are intertwined. We believe that technology has the potential to increase student achievement by igniting student interest and identifying programmatic strengths and weaknesses through data collection and analysis. This piece of our vision statement arose from our experience that technology and school improvement plans cannot be created apart from each other. Our school improvement plans are consistently revised to provide a new focus on our core academic areas. One of the sub-goals for each academic area has been to increase the integration of appropriate technology into teaching and learning in order to prepare all our students for the 21st century.
